Yin - All Levels

Yin Yoga targets  the joints, tendons, ligaments, fascia and bone.  Where tissues have good stress applied, the bodies energy is allowed to flow more freely.  This is said to be conducive with good health.

As the poses are held for a longer time, the body is given  space to relax and stretch.

There's no need to exert any strength - the stretches are passive due to gravitational force. 99% of the poses are performed on the floor; most of them are done seated or lying down.

How I Teach

My classes include relaxation and restorative poses, breathing techniques, warm-up sequences, balancing, stretching and stamina poses.

  • For the class you should wear loose, comfortable clothing that will allow you to stretch and move freely, and bare feet.
