FULL BODY YIN YOGA WORKSHOP
Join Warrior Wellbeing Yoga for an afternoon of Yin Yoga. Yin Yoga is a slow practice characterised by long held poses, passive stretching and an introspective and meditative mindset. The practice is gentle, the poses are simple but also challenging. The majority of the poses are performed either in a lying or seated position. Encouraging energy to flow more freely throughout your body. A practice that is suitable for everybody; Yin Yoga aims to promote optimal health. We will do a full body workout to ‘compress and stretch'. To release built up tension, correct your posture, to sooth your mind, and ease your connective tissues. Yin yoga is the perfect antidote to a hectic and busy lifestyle. It aims to bring us to balance. This session will be an introduction to Yin Yoga. There is a further session taking place on Sat 25 January 2020. Mats, blocks and straps are provided. Please bring a large towel, blanket or throw. Optional: Bring two pillows or cushions for extra comfort. *Refreshments will be included at the end of the workshop.
