Chavutti Thirumal Massage
The literal translation of Chavutti Thirumal is “massage by foot pressure”, and it was developed over two thousand years ago by the Kalari martial artists of Kerala, south India. It uses foot pressure with warm oils to deliver a whole body massage in long, sweeping movements.

When receiving this massage, you lie flat on the floor, cushioned by mats and towels. Your limbs are positioned to ensure comfort and encourage the free flow of energy, oil is applied. When the preparation is complete, I use one foot at a time, holding on to a support rope, to deliver sweeping, flowing strokes. My heels, the balls of my feet and my toes are used. This is great for aligning muscle and bone. It is a form of sports massage but it is so much more than just that!
Warrior Groundwork
Warrior Groundwork is an intense form of on-site massage, devised by Warrior Wellbeing - from Chavutti Thirumal Massage.
It is performed using foot pressure - padding and sweeping movements, through your clothing, whilst laying on a futon.
As with Chavutti Thirumal Massage - by using the contours of the foot and working with the force of gravity - this form of treatment provides a deeper tissue massage that is both effective and deeply relaxing.
It complements yoga and can be likened to sports massage in it's efficacy.
